Getting started with MSCA / MWA

Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) enable users to perform many common warehouse and shop floor transactions through hand-held radio frequency devices, and truck-mounted radio frequency scanners.

Functional Areas Covered by Mobile Applications
  1. Manufacturing: Moves, Issues, Returns, Scrap, Completions etc
  2. Receiving: Direct, Standard, Inspect, Cross-Dock, Print etc
  3. Inventory: Transactions, Transfers, Counts, Labelling etc
  4. Shipping: Pick confirm, Ship Confirm etc

The starting point to MSCA from functional perspective is to install the desktop client called 'Mobile Web Application – Graphical User Interface (MWAGUI)'.

There are 2 good metalink notes that describe this process and the associated tips.
1) 294670.1 - Oracle Mobile Applications (MSCA/WMS) Graphical User Interface
2) 782162.1 - MWA Troubleshooting Tips for Release 12

The first metalink note 294670.1 has the white paper and also an installation demo file.
